My uncle was a pilot over there and died from the effects of Agent Orange. "War is not healthy for children or  other living things."

Yes dear it is a thank you and they need our prayers daily, they don't have as many Christians fighting with them now. God bless you dear lady.

I lost a brother-in-law to Agent Orange and now I am on pins and needles as my son serves in Afghanistan! sam

I think
Vietnam changed us all. Poppa went thru 4 tours, I remember asking Momma, "how come you didn't cry when we took him to the base",, she said,," HE is going into a combat situation, if something should happen to him, I want him to remember my smile, not my tears." So I agree, thank you to all who have served, not only in NAM, but in all of our combat situations.

 I was going to watch but, was way too tired, from gardening and clearing winter from my land.  I commend all of those whom sacrifice and this was a heartening post.  Have a great weekend, DG - C Elyse
