The thing is, there will always be a sale. So I never have to look at a thing and decide if I will pay full price. If I can wait to have it, wear it, smear it on, drive it, then I wait. And sure enough, it will be 30, 40, 50% off before I really must have it. Of course by then I might have also decided I don't want it that bad anyway.
