This is so funny!   Poor woman.  LOL
It reminds me of son's friend who has an artificial ear that snaps in place.  He loves to play tricks on kids with it.  Driving along, a woman passed him and her little son waved at him.  Craig reached up, took off his ear and waved it at the kid and then put it back.  As he zoomed off he saw the little boy beating on his moms back and pointing at his car.  LOL

My all-time favorite, "best dog of 5 lifetimes" Cleo, howled w/harmonicas!
After awhile, all I had to do was tip back my head as though I was just about to howl with her or just all by myself, she would begin howling, even without any mouth organ music. She absolutely LOVED our duets.
In '69 we were traveling back to the states from a month and a half long stay in Yucatan, when two badgers chased each other across the road in front of our VW bug. We clipped one. Cleo, my full sized dashound, put her feet up on the still warm body of her ancestral "raison d'etre," and it awakened a primal howl from somewhere deep within her genetic memory, that shocked us both, and raised the hairs on the back of my neck. After more than 30 years without her, I mourn her loss deeply still, and she still occasionally returns to me in my dreams.
A part of me realizes that I am asleep and no dog born in '68 can possibly still be alive, but in dreams, one can voluntarily suspend all disbelief (like in a Clint Eastwood movie) and just enjoy the visit with a beloved lost companion, however briefly and illogical this visit would be, in the waking world.
I recently saw the movie "Dean Spanling," in which the special relationship between a man and his dog, was chillingly explored. In that film, it was stated that at any given time, there are always only seven "greatest dogs" living at any time. One dies, and another matures and takes it's place. Cleo was certainly one of these elite class canines, one of the seven best, of all time.
