Good for you and congrats! Even us outsiders were getting the impression that some doctors were giving you the run-around!
And I hope you had a great Mother's day!

Wonderful!!!
I'm so glad that you have what it takes to do that.
Hopefully all specialists are not like that, but years ago I had to deal with a Urologist for my Dad that was just like that, and then later had an Endocrinologist like that and I quickly fired him.

Very good for you. There are times when the beautiful smile needs to turn into a snarl. You know how your doggie is a sweet boy, just don't cross his line. That appears how we must live to get the services we need. I am glad you told him a thing or two. Answer to comment on my post. We are seeing a lot of help, much of the work will take months and even years to complete. Thank you for asking. I will have your brother in my prayers.

Sometimes, you just have to get BIG!
I once shocked a waiting room full of more patient put-upon folk by going up to the receptionist (after waiting over an hour with no information available as to why the delay...) and saying, "This is not acceptible, my time is valuable too, and I am leaving." And I did. He called that night to apologize and set up a new appointment.

Good for you and it is about time the doc got moving in the right direction! I hope this is the first positive step for your brother! I have him and you in my prayers! I will suffice to say that you told them to get the puck moving for it was enough icing on their part! And then I have a couple more in my head as well! Happy Mother's Day to you, too! sam

I thought it was only the heart surgeons who think they're
god of all things. I've seen these guys look at a patient while he talks, hearing not a word, and then pontificate at large. I hope you fixed this doc's listening ears, but it's hard to teach an old god new tricks.
