Personally, I never did think it was much fun to be anything like a supervisor or a manager or such like. Much, much easier it is to be a person who is only responsible for ones own work. But, most people aren't that fortunate.

I would NEVER want to walk a mile in THOSE shoes. That's WHY I would NEVER want to be a MANAGER of anything. It was forced on me at one point in my life and I was NEVER so happy when I LOST that job DUE to "mergers and acquisitions" that's about ALL I've HEARD for the past eighteen years. Then when the accounting department was centralized for a year and a half they called and wanted ME to come back to that HELL? Not only did I say NO but HELL NO!! LOL Give me my little corner where I can get MY work done and let the MGR take care of all the others who "don't want to" or "that's NOT my job" & etc........ARGH!!

Annicita....
I've seen the same sort of thing happen on other jobs..people say they are available to work all shifts during their job interview, but after they're hired, that all changes....they all of a sudden can't work Sundays, or can't work Saturdays, and on and on it goes....does management care?..nope, we were stuck with these new workers...
Thats one of many reasons I'm glad I retired when I did..
