The key for me in this post is that they think they are revolutionaries, and that can be very frightening! Shelly

SOmeone whose name escapes me right now said speaking of a miracle once"  To those who do not believe no proof is necessary and for those who do no proof is possible"  or something to that effect.  You are right, those who believe in Islam are not asking for nor looking for proof, the same way as those who believe in other things, be it the Bible, Santa   or the Easter Bunny.  That is the amazing thing about Faith my friend... if you need proof you do not have it and so all religions ask you to "believe" on faith... Brilliant isn't it? The definition of the word itself, believe, is to accept without evidence... How can one question if questioning itself is a negation of all one is supposed to be/// Be well  xoxoxo

With the internet, and so many other ways for them to see how forceful women are elsewhere, it's astonishing that they could imagine any religion which puts women on the bottom of the heap ever becoming 'the norm' around the world in the future - even the very FAR future. . Talk about a huge MACHO complex!

The perception of themselves is an important component in all of this. It's often overlooked too.
