It is a tough time for teachers! But those who are willing to relocate can find work in my humble opinion! When I started out it was tough to get a job but I searched until I got one! Just tell your daughter to hang tough and go where she has to to get the experience; she won't regret it! Congrats on the weight loss, too! sam

I find all of the cuts to be cause for concern as well. I have the sinking feeling that things are going to get ugly.

Congrats on the weight loss!
My mom did weight watchers for a long time and kept the weight off. Of course, this was YEARS ago...but it helped out as she got older. Texas isn't the only state that is laying off teachers. Ohio just laid a bunch of teachers off this month. So sad! Good luck to your daughter!
