That brought tears to my eyes. My husband & I are each other's best friend & soulmate. You may have mentioned somewhere, if, there was an age difference between you & your spouse. Mine is 15 years older than myself. We've had, almost, 14 years together & I pray, we have many, many more. I'm sure you cherish the time you were able to have with your partner.

This is so beautiful and I want more......now that you are writing from a
distance although I am sure that it is heart rending...it is also very clearly written for your readers.
