When the rains come...
I love your imagery of colour and the plants waiting 'agog'. You can really see them stretching out their necks and petals to soak up the rain.

I do love the rain to awaken the plants! Fine poem, too! We seem to get some everyday I jokingly say I have to get my work done between the rain drops! Your poem was a delightful read, too! sam

Having a fair amount of rain in my part of the world as well. Let's hope there's some truth in the adage "April showers bring May flowers".

Do you know any rain spells MS Straightforward my little plants do not like tap water it gives them the cold flushes. Yes I liked this it is nice.
