I've dealt with weight issues my whole life. Partly due to genetics & also because of PCOS(poly cystic ovarian syndrome). For most people, it's family related and/or a condition, not, over consumption. It could just be baby fat & she'll level out in the next year or so. One thing you don't want to do is give her a negative body image. Don't want her developing anorexia and/or bulimia. I'm proud of, confident in & embrace who I am. I try to instill the same attitude in others. Which, I would do with your niece, if I knew her.

Perhaps with the weather change she will get out more often! She did get pampered, though! sam

A nice way to spend time with one another...The weight is indeed a big concern. I feel that Kabu has come up with a good way to skin the cat so to speak.

perhaps you can talk to her parents about the weight
but what a lovely day you all enjoyed.
