The law takes these things much more seriously now. One thing which needs to change is, the statute of limitation on rape & molestation. There should be no statute of limitation. Just as with homicide. With the advancement of DNA testing & other technology, crimes which were committed years ago & left to go cold, because, they couldn't match evidence, left at the scene, with a perpetrator, are now able to be solved. If it's past the time, then, they may not be prosecuted. Rape & molestation are violent crimes. They shouldn't have an expiration date.
