The preacher obviously has no son in the war zones to worry about, but wonder if he hasn't opened himself to lawsuits by his pursuit of his rights?

small comfort in realizing that the "public outcry" that initiated a criminal investigation was from Moderate Muslims who obviously feel that the crux of Sharia Law is from the dark ages......Mal

The preacher is a terrible representative of the cloth! I enjoy a great political cartoon and they had him in the paper along with the radical extremists and the faces were much the same which slightly distorted as they will depict them in the cartoons. But in its own right strikingly similar! He is self serving and has only succeeded in bring fear among his own congregation; they now carry guns because they can't afford security! Scary what he has done to the ones in his church! For those who lost their lives due to his actions, I find it difficult to allow him forgiveness and I suspect he is the type to not understand that he is the one who needs to repent! So he has dug his own hole so to speak and the chips will fall where they will fall! On the death of the young girl, it is horrendous, but until women are not suppressed and men are held accountable and unable to hide behind a doctrine that allows for this behavior I see no real changes! I think that educating the people is a key; but more of them must stand up to the iniquities before a real change will come about! It seems so many are so misguided! It reminds me of the chief priests in the New Testament of the Holy Bible; these people get a taste of power and public esteem then they will go to the extremes to keep it; even covering up a wrongful death! Without accountability I feel it is doomed and nothing of significance will change! Such a sad incident and needless loss of a life! Shelly

Such a tragedy - I cannot imagine being the girl's mother - that poor woman, poor child, poor father. Very disturbing story, but we need to know it.

the story put tears in my eyes because I know it is not an isolated
case, and I feel for the poor muslims sufering in the name of alla. That is why I think that guy (whatever his name is) did a great thing by burning the quran because it symbolized the evil that islam is bringing into the world. Dont misunderstand me I am not saying All muslims are bad, but Islam is a bad religion and quran should be burned every day in demostration against their daily acts of brutality, hate and murder.

The man who burned the book is uneducated and ignorant, vile and poor there will always be a few of them. Some are as ignorant with education and money. First thankfully there is only one in millions like the man. There are millions of Muslims who are like what happened to this little girl with the base behavior being sanction by the religion and courts usually. You know I don't share your opinions on Satan and God; however, since there is no proof of their absence it is fine. I love your work keep it coming.
