And about that lavender item: Sorry, I don't have a link. I only have a hard copy of the Scientific American (I have stacks of them, LOL), this one from April, '07. I was actually looking for something else when I stumbled across that item. There wasn't much more to it than is in my Tidtbit (Titbit? LOL). But then I checked, and if you google Clifford Bloch, you'll find a lot...

I also loved it. It reminded me of just about every place I ever worked and extremely unlikely employee liaisons that kept whispered conversations going in the break rooms.
