It is inevitable that potholes will develop on a two way street, accidents and injustices will occur and continue to
occur until the truth on both sides is admitted. Unfortunately, ego`s on both sides are very large potholes to fill.

Really incredible that someone, and particularly a Jew, could not understand the volatility of the situation and be D*** certain he has analyzed the facts before making such a damaging official report. When the Goldstone report was first issued the response from Minister of Information Edelstein was that the charges were "anti-Semitic." Many bristled at that term, in light of the perceived truthfulness of the Goldstone report. I, too, thought he used it loosely, and wrote a poem about it, but since June of last year I have really had a change of heart - and now this. I had to write another, and I am also very disappointed at this turn. One can only hope that this will put Israel in a more favorable light, but who knows, maybe this revelation will be exploited as well.

I am not sure this was not bogus from the beginning. He knows the damage is done. The other person who needs to be shut up is: Old George Soros is giving money like popcorn at the movies to all sorts of groups that stand with the Anti-Semites and he was born a Jew. This is all so pathetic and hurtful to me. Our government is not for Israel no matter what they say. Peace must come to Jerusalem that is the Holy City of God. Now you go take a blood pressure cap and walk the dog. Bless you for a very good post.

What a shame that it took him so long to make his shameful U-turn, and even more shameful that he didn't make it a point to know these things before he made the report in the first place. I would think he would never be able to hold up his head again.

I was thinking the same as Adnohr! They seem to want to make their apology and then hope it goes away but slanderous stuff has a way of having a life of it's very own! Shelly

Thank you for sharing this, it is a serious issue making statements without proper investigations.. but of course I thought the title was about me..and I must say the words you used were rather mild to say the least AND no we don't have winter here as we are very near the equator (why do I feel that you are chuckling there??) and if you happen to come here you will almost melt with the heat and humidity as I would freeze and get frozen if I was in Canada for winter! (my emoticons are not working but sending you smiles)

When I first started reading you today I must confess that I was a little dissapointed iyour piece was not about the blogger I thought you meant when I read the title ( yes loll one of ours). but then reading on I was, as I often am, amazed at what you related to us. Goldstone caused so much suffering ...That guy should be denied forgiveness untill he makes an effort for his appology to Israel to be heard by as many as heard his lie before. Great post Naut...

WHY do the journalists not make as much of his recitifation as of his first erroneous report? Are they all anti-semites? Or maybe the powers-to-be are anti-semites? And why in the modern world would anyone endorse anti-semitism in the first place??? I guess I have much reading to do...

that's why I read all articles with a jaundiced eye...every one has a bias
and will give their writing the slant that they believe in...tis why I find History such a wonderful subject......where lies the real truth.
