It would be profound if near; but not a safe or sound idea!

Re: Sam, three at once is enough of a feat, but to have them go
lke that is really remarkable.  I can hardly imagine it! - Bob

I can hear the crack and the thud! My biological father was a logger and we had to help out in his business! I once watched him fell three trees at once and they actually fit in your poem for they all seem to fall and land at the same time but it was surreal and like slow motion. When they hit they just laid there not the usual bounce of trees I was familiar with to that time! The trees were smaller and of cedar but they went down so gracefully; I can still see it!

Another more relevant question exists, that has the power to affect all of
our lives. If a man out in the forest says something, is he still wrong? The answer, and I think a great majority of my female peers would tend to agree, is a resounding YES! =D

All things in God's world speak in their own way wheather we haer them or not...God does.

I don't think the sound would hang around Bob as much as we would like to think it might.

I believe the sound is made no matter if there is someone to hear it, human or otherwise...   In spite of what we would like to think, we are not the center of creation and the world does not stop turning if we are not watching :-)   Good poem :-)  xoxoxo

I contend that any fall makes a vibration and there are more than humans
that hear it, including the poor bird whose nest rode the tree down and the ground that felt the boom!

LOL, this is so cute..Well Bob, I see the tree falling though I am not there and hear the sound of a great huge thud pulling along with it all the little trees and plants surrounding it and creating a whole lot of mess..even the squirrel's hideout is destroyed.
