Re: I'm glad you liked the haiku. I was thinking of the kind of magic I
saw in a Seurat exhibition at the Met one time - it was one of his charcoal sketches of a stretch of railroad track.
What struck me was how the roughness of the paper tricked your eye into seeing detail of highlights and gravel
that, when you looked close, weren't there.  Good watercolors do that too.  And it looks so effortless- Bob

The chemistry of yellow and green don't quite add up I agree - love the haiku and colors too.And thank you - am glad you liked the poem enough to take a copy, most welcome.

Re: I am cheering clapping stamping my feet...brilliant....and so descriptive
I'm delighted to find I'm not alone - I love to watch a good watercolor artist at work.  The last one was a guy at
the library, working with three colors and a 2-inch brush - he dashed off a surf scene, and gave it away when he was finished! - Bob

I envy anyone who can paint this way with watercolors! I've
tried it and they all go clunk.  What kills me is it looks so effortless!

This is a massive haiku...almost haunting in the feeling it has on me.
