Oh my - the memories this one awakened! I remember going out for a guy because I felt sorry for him. It was a bad move, made worse when he wouldn't take no for an answer after that one date. Of course the other kids teased without mercy. I finally had to beat the dude up to make it all stop!

I once was madly in love with an older woman - I was 13, she was 15 or 16. When I asked her to come to the movies with me, she laughed at me and told me to 'grow up', and I was seriously thinking of running away from home and go to sea...
