Well I can tell stories Rumor It all started way back when we sold bananas and you couldn't get one for love nor money. We had a small consignment perhaps a box to share between 200 raging female shoppers. It was on every females lips 6lbs of spuds and any bananas. Obviously the bananas went to the best customers, So one had to stand solemnly and say sorry no bananas as one stroked them gently beneath the counter. War makes liars of us all.

You can say more in a couple of stanzas than a lot of wordy fiction writers (including me, although I try to avoid it..
