About your post, my mom made many emergency room trips during her last year of life, and if she were with it enough she'd say, "Always remember this day as the day I didn't die." I'd laugh, but I only remember the day she did die, very unexpectedly. Strange, this reminds me now of all those days she didn't, so I'm smiling.

To answer your question about the missing "O" in my poem, it's my training. I was taught that it would be a violation of His name to throw away a prayer book, or any piece of paper containing a holy reference, so we give such things a proper burial. You can imagine how inconvenient (and polluting) that would be if we had to do that every time we wrote it out, so we just omit the "O" and put a dash instead. Don't know what the biblical scholars are saying these days about cyberscript, tho, but I do it out of habit (and maybe a touch of "just in case.")
