Naut,
yes, the battening down of these and other things has been considered.. the lamp tucks down into the mound of pillows, the plant goes into the little bathroom sink, surrounded by bumpers.
And yes, we will hope for slightly more constrained motion on the part of the vehicle! lol!

I love it! It's very nice and cozy! But you might want to find a safe place for stowing the table lamp and the pot plant! Those kinds of things don't do well on boats, and while the range of Tioga's movment may not be as wide (one would hope, LOL), I nonetheless see some similarities...
