Really powerful message, Naut, and very disturbing to me since many of us have become involved in activities to improve Jewish/Muslim relationship in urban areas all over the U.S.  This is a great initiative, of course, but if observance of Islam must include eventual annihilation of Jews, then certainly a pall of suspicion will shadow these efforts.  Adnohr brings up a good point - that's what we all hope for, but "feeling" (i.e. hatred) can be deep-rooted and seems to always get in the way of "knowing" better.  Time will tell, but in the face of all the agitation recently, I'm nervous. The U.S. strategies here on are critical.

It's interesting to see how it all works together. I wonder if things ever will change for the better.

With technology so advanced (internet, etc.), does the younger generation of those countries not question and discard these out-dated teachings? Such as the younger generation in western civilization have done for all the man-made restrictions of religion? Even if the leaders have limited their access to information, kids are ususally pretty good at getting around that, and they are the future.

Naut
Those who are denying the hatred are delusional as if under a spell. It is true that they cannot see the truth for it's reality. This is a time when the lie prevails and it gets worse. We are coming upon some really bad times. They are taking our country without objection. It is a pity. Thank you for all your good work.

I think it comes back to your original point that the change must come from within! This was truly an eye opener! Shelly
