It is VERY sad that your sons haven't spoken to you in that many years:( That stuff is ALWAYS sad to me. I can imagine the grief that your wife put you through because believe me I've done MY share of putting men through hell but I'm SO DONE with that crap now that I realize it and am slowly but surely getting back to the sweet kind nurturing person I was BEFORE my Dad and my first hubby knocked it all out of me. They may have robbed me of who I "could hve been" BUT as someone posted on here awhile back "It's never to late to become the person you could have been".....................

I went back and read your very first post, I am sorry for what you lived. I thought my ex wife and mother of our children was writing this.Her father had been a pedophile and she could never talk about it and after 20 years we broke up the marriage. She became very mentally ill because of that but did get well eventually (sort of) and married again. Pedophilia is a terrible crime and we never let our daughters spend ANY time with him. Strangely my 2 sons haven't spoken to me in about 15-23 years, so it may be he targeted them and like their mother, they can't talk about it. God Bless you, and I never spelled that story out before except to a psychotherapist, you will help a lot of folks with your story.
