This is the first time that I have read your blog and I enjoyed it.
I am an ex. pat. Aussie.....well sort of....I'll always call Australia home....Sydney so half my friends were Kiwis at one time or another. A stepgranddaughter and her partner were in Christchurch when the big one hit. My sister was about to book a trip to there....she's in Tasmania instead...... The Grandchildren were Ok and are back in Sydney for a bit. I will browse back through some of your posts to catch up.
