Re:Thanks! She's still loopy from the sedation, which surprises me
but  the operation was successful and she's recovering well back home.  Had to get up with her once during the night, but she's still too weak in her one good leg and so couldn't complete the transfer (she's paralyzed on her left side and has grown quite heavy since becoming wheelchair-bound) so I had to call 911for cops and EMS team.
Lots of excitement!  I'm sleeping like a log. - Bob

Ugh, hospital memories are not the best, regardless of the procedure.  I'm so glad it's ok and apparently she's home (?) now.  Feel better, Mrs. Bob!  (And get some rest, too, Mr. Bob!)

Re: well captured ...the waiting rooms in a hospital seem to have a life of
Kabu, all I could think of by way of comparison was a disaster shelter of some kind.  They actually had 2 recliners there, but I was never in time to get either when they became available.  That would have been nice because I'm
bone-weary.  - Bob

Re:Jay, thanks. That waiting room has a distinct aura about it. - Bob

Re: Adnohr, yeah, it's tough hanging around hospitals.

Re: CC, thank you - we had to bring her home in an ambulance instead
of in our adapted van.  But she's here now sleeping and in no pain.  And I'm having a beer.  - Bob

well captured ...the waiting rooms in a hospital seem to have a life of
their own...people are different while there for sure.

I've been spending alot of time in hospitals too lately. You've captured the feeling exactly. Happy the treatment was a success!
