GREAT POEM, HOW IT HURTS TO SEE SUCH DESTRUCTION, MAKES ONE FEEL SO HELPLESS, WE ALL NEED TO HOLD ON TO THE HAND OF OUR GOD, THATS ALL WE CAN COUNT ON, WE CAN'T EVEN COUNT ON THE GROUND BENEATH OUR FEET, MY CRY IS DRAW CLOSE TO THE LORD AND HE WILL DRAW CLOSE TO YOU.

How very rightly you have said of the catastrophe..indeed "Lord what is the matter"?

It makes me hurt to read this.  You described it so awfully well.
God bless the little old man who tried to help his wife and she was washed out of his grasp.
God bless the hungry, the thirsty, the cold, the homeless.
Protect them all from the terrible radiation.

It speaks volumes about the demise of man when he choses to stray from the Lord! And, what a timely poem for the current state of world affairs for we have certainly brought it all on ourselves! Very captivating and exquisite imagery! sam

chuck, one can tell these words come directly from your heart...

Words that I'm sure are being echoed around the world right now, in many languages..

..very emotional, and rightly so, my friend....
