I think Pat phrased it correctly when she said home was balance.

Azur
Well I agree, at a time like this we are all connected and in need of one another. Nice post.

How unbelievable to hear about the Tsunami 25 years ago, and then for it to occur! Just amazing! I think home is where we chose to hang our hat! Great post! sam

Amen Azur and bless what you give and where you give it.  Every member of the human race is our neighbour and we would do well to remember that and to pass that lesson on to every person we meet.  My family doesn't seem to like that I sometimes donate to help elderly Jews living in Russia and Ukraine...but guess what?  I don't care what they like and what they don't!

Hope all is well my friend...

I too, give what I can, when I can.

we are such a global community...even if we think home is just where we
are, we are still affected financially by disasters around the world. Like you, I give where I can and make no boundaries to end the giving...

All these happenings are so heartbreaking.  How can one not wish to help even though feeling so helpless and feeling that what I have is such a pittance in the face of the mounting need.

Home's where the heart is. Home's wherever I hang my hat.

Home for the holidays. Home Sweet Home.  So many emotions in that one word. I think maybe it's built on the sound of "ohm" which to some is a direct link to the universal knowing. The sense of having no home, of belonging nowhere, of being no-one is disturbing to me. So is being too much depended on. Balance, it seems, is more a goal than an achievement.

I was only going to say I agree with your observation about helping where you can. And all this stuff popped up on the screen. Maybe should have deleted it, just said this bit. Funny how your writing sings to me.
