This country needs to fix its medical system, but this is too large and to important of an issue for it not to be debated openly and fairly for both sides of the argument. Of course we have a semi-socialist medical system, but to replace that with a 2700+ page bill that no one read is madness.

That is good to know...
Recently I have herniated a disc in my back, insurance cost $700/mo through my wife, not sure it it would be better to put that into a savings account or not, these things cost lots of money and I lost my job too. I'm hoping they work with me for my out of pocket.

you have made some good points, but a mother of a daughter who has been unemployed off and on for over a year finds it helpful that the emergency room took her in and did exrays without pay, but now they are billing her. They then gave her some companies that might help her.
