Forevermore, I didn't realize Christmas was that close! LOL Those shoulder injuries take time to heal so you might as well relax and wait it out! Thanks for stopping by; my migraine is all but gone at this point! Shelly

I enjoyed reading this yesterday when I, myself, was in no mood for commenting or posting. Today I'm back at it so I came here to tell you I read you yesterday and I am sorry you are still in pain. Going by my own injury a couple years ago, I am afraid it might pain you for quite some time. Eventually, though, I found, it does go away. Hang in there.

I had something similar, that used an electric current through the joint--
found it most effective for tendonitis, and after only 3 sessions, a week apart... was supposed to have 6, but in fact, the 3 did the trick.. though it took 6 weeks for the tendonitis to go. It was kind of a cool experience, too.

From my own experience I besiege you to get that ultrasound. I neglected to get one of my back after a silly fall for three years ( yes I am as stubborn as you are loll) I was not to be defeated by those demons you mention in your post... and I stoically suffered the pain hoping it would somehow go away... Well it didn't and it grew so bad that I finally gave in and went to the blessed hospital only to find out that the wait had caused more damage and it was then a matter of surgery... Not trying to scare you, this is the emes truth. Drs told me if I had gone when I first fell it would have been a matter of physical therapy alone... so GO!, there are meds they can give you that not only help with the pain but relax and disinflame the boo boos :-) giving your body a better chance to take care of the problem. Take care of you Naut... please :-) xoxoxo

I prescribe a bit of dark chocolate. It boosts those endorphins...
And even if it doesn't, who cares. It's chocolate.

Nautkos poor luv. I am so sorry that you are hurting so bad. As soon as
you can get that ultrasound the better, this actually sounds really serious to me.
and for the endorphins......hmnnnnnnn a treadmill or exercise bike would work. Take care and keep up the pain killers for a bit. The healing can occur if we relax the muscles while resting.

When one is physically active, then for whatever reason has to sit around, I think it is as hard to take as any other pain involved. I remember being in a cast all summer while living beside a lake, where I used to spend hours swimming...GRRR! My friend, Kilroy, is in a similar fix at the moment. I can imagine the mood is not its best?

You have my sympathy!! (AND Toronto lost the other night, even if it wasn't to the HABS

)
