I've been so out of it with Blogit, Naut - haven't been following anyone, so I completely missed this. Sounds like you are on the mend, however and as my grandma used to always say "it could have been worse." I've had exactly two experiences with the Canadian medical system. One, when I was in Grad school, presenting a paper at the American Psychology Association conference in Montreal and had to go to McGill for a lump in my neck (turned out to be nothing). Second time when my son broke his arm - a complex break - on Mt. Tremblant and I ended up taking Ben to Montreal Children's Hospital. I drew a much higher number than you did!!!! We were waiting for HOURS. I got to know everyone there. Heal fast, Naut....Mal

Goodness gracious Naut, you have lived an interesting if precarious life :-) Hit by a truck? Oh my... no wonder you took so well your black ice fall. I am happy there was nothing wrong with your clavicle this time... There is nothing more uncomfortable than those casts when the clavicle is involved... and it seems you ARE feeling a bit better... at least well enough to write with your usual sense of humor ... Here is to your continued healing

Take care of yourself my friend and listen to Taps... Aspirin as a pain killer is good but it can create havoc in your tummy... Be well xoxoxo

Don't ruin your stomach with aspirin, get something stronger--like maybe snorting bath salts, no R
x needed for that either.

LOL - I have to agree with Pat_B's comment. You got hit by a truck? You blogged about it in here? I'll have to scroll back in your blogs, because I don't remember reading about that. By the way, you scamp, my brother already rubbed it in about the Toronto-HABS game.

I am glad you accept prayers although tongue in cheek! My goodness, you have had a time of it with your accidents! I have been grazed by a vehicle while riding but never outright hit! Terrible, made me squirm! This was a funny and serious but I adore your light hearted approach throughout, too! Shelly
