Well, I've Had It With the Petulant, "Action," of the Self Righteously...

...self appointed.  What has been done in the name of the American people by its government has been evil incarnate.  This administration represents the absolute WORST of that, "tradition."

If this hell on Earth is what the fundamentalists of the world require before they become convinced that they have been systematically lied to by their own clerics and scribes, then this is where we will have to go.  Our fates are tethered together, no matter how much we dislike that fact.  The problem, as correctly mentioned but incorrectly reported in Revelation is a matter of, "judgment." -- who has it, and who does not.

I would submit that if seemingly polar opposites can be accomodated in a single vision of, "reality," by Creation, then the truth of the matter has to be far more generous than any fundamentalist position I've yet heard described.

Don't even go to the specious, "free will," argument with me.  None of us has a truly, "free," will since all of us seek for some form of, "happiness," for ourselves.  That means the only freedom we have is to prolong our own suffering, and that's not much of a choice.

The issue is not whether or not the fundamentalist dunces of the world will wake up and recognize that they have been duped into worshipping their own fevered egoes for close to 2,000 years; the issue is WHEN will they come to recognize that it is their own flawed judgment that has been their, "satan," and their rapacious predator.  And THAT is the issue for me because I would much prefer it if we still had a biosphere and some resources left on the planet to make human life worth living.

So the sooner the fundamentalists wake up, the better life will be for everyone.

I agree with that last sentence, Paul
Fence sitting isn't where the action is.

I Suppose So...

...after all, this jackass, Saddam, was hired to assassinate the dictator who preceded the Shah of Iran.  When he failed at that, he was still rewarded and given a kingdom (Iraq).  We then armed him during the 80's and then set him up to think he could invade Kuwait and get away with it.  Then we invaded him.

Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden are BOTH CIA assets that were developed for the explicit purpose maintaining the Energy industry's status quo (in the case of Hussein), or causing disruption and chaos in Afghanistan (in the case of bin Laden).

The only reason we haven't paraded bin Laden out in public is that it would look really bad for our troops to show up beside a hospital bed with assault rifles and riot gear to take in a man who is clearly on kidney dialysis.

There's alot more going on in this world than you realize or are willing to accept, Ink.  Ugly stuff that defies the mind's ability to cope and still remain unpolarized.

But there is also beauty and joy that passes understanding, too.  It's hard to stay balanced and objective when one is at either end of the spectrum.  And being in the middle ONLY, the Golden Mean, gets too boring for most people unless they are classically trained aesthetes of one sort or other.

More speculation, as usual

Had he he been captured living high off the hog, the story would make the same unfounded accusations except it would turn the "evidence" around to suggest that we were trying to fatten the calf, so we could make him look like the royal scumbag that he is.  Wouldn't it have been more glamorous for our military to have busted in to his desert penthouse and had a showdown James Bond style?  I mean if we were going to stage the whole thing, why not make it sizzle?
