Not only interesting, but to me a bit mind-blowing.   I think I'll go back to the kitchen and bake something.

Al Qaeda IS the Muslim Brotherhood, as is Hamas and the antifada

Im not sure I am spelling those names the common way, but its important to understand that they are all one, and that paints a bit of a different picture. One of the big problems that Israel has had fighting hamas and all the brother terrorists organization is that they did not realize that the Muslim Brotherhood is the engine that runs them. As a matter of fact, Israel, at first, did not even know about the Muslim Brotherhood.

and the question you ask which is very valid is, would the muslim brohterhood, hamas, al queda and those wonderful groups, do the exact same thing to their own people? No doubt it is YES, so why are they sending forth one of their own to speak out against Khadafi?

Re:

Sinome  I agree with what you say darling...let us stop sending aid we can't afford to people who hate us and whowould shoot us as quick as look at us.

Yesterday in the hospital while waiting, I was talking over a coffee with a really nice Egyptian Lady.

Just one woman to another and I reckon if they left it to we woman with sons brothers fathers husbands that may have to fight and die.....there would be more democracy and fairness and less war.

You know what?  When I was a child every time there was an earthquake, a flood, a war or someone was evil  my grandparents used to say the world was coming to an end... "Its the time of the Messiah" yelled my grandfather more often than I care to remember and I lived for a while in fear that any time the dark angels of the apocalypse where going to descend upon us ( specially upon me).  Fast forward 40 years ( and lots of therapy loll ) and there are still earthquakes and floods  and wars and people are eviller ( is this a word?) than ever and now it is my father saying " Its the time of the coming of the Messiah".  I don't think we are coming to an end anytime soon... ( sorry Mayans) but I do believe you are right of course in that these are interesting times.  Perhaps not the first times in which the world has seen turmoil, but this is our turmoil and therefore more important to us.  The Arabs have been cursing us under their breath for centuries and loudly for a long time as well... Of course whatever happens its going to be our fault.  Its like being a Mom... we, in the west and specially in North America get blamed always no matter what, so the only thing to do is grow a thick skin and learn to defend ourselves... Oh and stop giving our money away to help those who do not like us and never will.  Be well and sorry for going on and on :-)  xoxoxo

Indeed these are interesting times...I wonder who next will go...Unfortunately, I feel that things are going to get very ugly...

I couldn't agree more on interesting times! I am amazed that they can see how criminal it is to kill 'their own' and yet scream to kill others they deem otherwise! How they cannot see their double standard as it were is beyond my comprehension! I have a feeling that no good is going to come of this when it runs its course! Shelly
