I had been following the story and was so saddened when I learned they were murdered! Such a tragedy! Very fine poem regarding them, too! This pirating thing needs to be stopped but I haven't a clue as to a solution! Shelly

Such an awful thing it was, so unnecessary, so insane.  And, to a sailor who knows the seas, and the winds and waves, and other sailors, I send you my sympathy and condolences and wishes that it would never happen again.  But, even as I wish, I know that in this crazy world, it very likely may.

You managed to capture the essence of the sea in those few lines Naut..poignant... totally senseless waste of lives.

Thank you so much for this. The evil from all over the world is closing in all over the world. These people were doing no one harm. I am proud of our seals too. Sorry they were not able to get to these murderers first. I know this touched you especially as a sailor, so sad.
