Re: You capture this scene really well
Thanks malcolm! I think you will get away with laughing more than with screaming :P

Re: UtahJay
It's funny how few people can understand that a book can be funny...  I recall reading Good Omens on the London Underground and the looks I got from that.

Re: Wanna bet they wanna find out what you're reading? Chuckles are,
I agree completely... but I'm afraid silent and solemn circumstances do make me laugh anyway...

Re: sam444

Great poem - and I'm glad to see that Norfolk CC are keeping our libraries open.

You capture this scene really well
I often spend an evening in the library in Cambridge on Friday evenings, while waiting for Claire to finish her ballet class; I confess I do often want to scream...

I once read Forest Gump on a flight back East, I kept laughing out loud and the woman sitting next to me thought I was insane. I know it wasn't in a library, but it was a pretty quite flight...except for the insane man in 24F.

Wanna bet they wanna find out what you're reading? Chuckles are,
I guess, unseemly in a library, but it seems so natural.  I remember enjoying P.G. Wodehouse and Booth
Tarkington in the library as a kid.  - Bob

I rather like the smile instead of a glare that hastens one to put a frown on because there will be no talking, lol! This is very cool! sam

Just as well we can never be in a library with each other..

I do believe the smiles would turn to giggles which would have us turned out.

Happy Valentine dear friend.
