Re: I would leave her and her piddly little doggie well alone.
Oh dear Kabu that poor little dog didn't pee too much about an egg-cup full. I wish I hadn't mentioned it, but I had just drunk three tins of tonic water and had an empty screen and it was raining and I thought I must write something quickly so I went through some of my wet memories and rode my Motor Scooter into the outback.

I like the vision at the beginning --- like a Paris portrait ~ woman with thin lead on perhaps a poodle type doggie... Even with a rose, I do believe, the dog may have the last word or pee or bark here dear ChCh --- Yes, this woman sounded lovely but I think her heart was held in check by her puppy love ~ I enjoyed this poem very much; wonderfully creative. The dainty demure lady must have surely loved the rose on her doorstep if anything else. Beautiful poetry here CC.

so from smiles to a look of ice and some strange advice, C.C.....
All because of a few words meant in a complimentary way...no, C.C., I wouldn't have looked back at her, and might have been tempted to kick her dog..

...(I can only imagine what the strange advice was, the naughty woman...)

I would leave her and her piddly little doggie well alone.
