I like that series, too....they pull off what could be so schamaltzy with glamour and class...well, I don't know if class is the word to apply to it but, whatever! It's got me hooked!
I feel sooo guilty when I hear about your weather....we finally got some cold stuff (actual ice and snow in Austin and San Antionio!) this past week but it's getting beautiful again now....I think I've worn my coat a total of maybe 10 days this winter, so far.... But, I'm sure you'll appreciate your warm weather more when you get it!
BTW, your son's poem was beautiful!!!!

What if you had a toboggan...and my hills to slide down? And warm Kodiac boots, and a Canadien
tuque? And winter tires like we have here - would you like winter more, do you think?
