Well, I am sorry to hear about the news. I am sad to say that your story is all too familiar. It is a widespread epidemic. Here in Ky you wouldn't believe the stuff that goes on! Good luck to you!

I don't know what to say.  But, it seems, that most of the time anymore, I don't know what to say about much of anything.  I can't keep up with all the changes that do not seem like good changes to me.

As DEPUTY Director of a Hospice like this one....I know in Australia

and I am guessing in the States it is the same...it is illegal to lock people in their rooms and indeed in the home. A nuisance at times when one of them wanders off out the door and has to be found but we could lock people out but not in.

There is a very good case here and you daughter has the right to complain.

At least they are receiving complaints and it doesn't look like just one is upset! Good for all of those who demand the truth as to the firing! Those in the wrong need to be stopped! I wish her all the best! sam
