Snow Flies!
What a great picture!  I never saw one before!  I know about Christina though, I saw on you tube how everyone shifted uncomfortably and had expressions of 'what the - ???' when she flubbed.  Snow drifts in Dallas would definately be a problem!

I'm glad to read that you enjoyed the game so much. I'm happy the Packers won as well...With regard to the halftime show never in a million years would I have thought someone from Guns 'N' Roses would perform with the Black Eyed Peas.

I thought snow flies were without wings and walked across snow banks.
Boy you fooled me.

I liked that the Packers won! I could never root for Ben because of his off season antics that are borderline and not representative of a NFLer! I think he got away with rape, twice! Shelly

I've heard that snow flies...
but not that flies came to picnic tables with the snow. Lucky you were quick enough to capture proof.

Every time I read your posts I learn something... I had never heard of snow flies... and there it is, picture and everything... Here in Miami we have some a lot like them, but we call them dragon flies.  They are more colorful and a Spring and Summer event.  We love them because they eat mosquitoes and they are kind of pretty... al different colors and almost irridescent in the sunlight.  There are two days or so towards the end of Spring when they all seem to come out to play ( and mate  loll) Those two days you can count them in the thousands and its an spectacle to be seen... all fluttering around, sometimes piggi back each other ( hmmm what are they doing?  loll kids never fail to ask that  loll) Anyway, they are cute.  Thanks for sharing.your photo, it was truly a great shot... Here is one of mine but I did not take it :-)  its from the internet .  Be well  xoxoxo

First time I am seeing it Naut - looks like a huge mosquito. Against the backdrop of snow, it looks really menacing.
