I think these are great tips to share Ash..
no boasting, made me laugh..I truly hope I don't fall into that category..;) My friends over here complain that I don't make time for them so I can relate to this...thanks for the comment - Prince Charming should find someone unimaginary I say..

Ash, touching bases with old friends is so easy to do, yet we
want to, it seems, make it so hard...if one is phone shy, a note is a great way to reacquaint.
...then later, a phone call is so much easier.

Yes I read it Ash and your good advice, of some folk just like writing to each other these days, which I think is preferable to phone calls in my case as I can't think of anything to say.
