here we have two sets of tires....summer and snow tires
but then this isn't Texas I mean if this weather hit Australia, the country would be insane.

jesse, thats usually the way it happens around here...
They predict a major snowfall and we get maybe an inch, and everyone drives like ten miles an hour..
.Thats what made this week's one foot dumping so unreal - we just dont usually get them..

Chains! I don't think I have used them since the advent of the good snowtires. But, before then.... I remember back in the 1950's taking my drivers license driving test in a January deep snow with chains on my tires in downtown Kansas City. I passed. LOL
