The imagery in this poem is breath-taking. I am dazed from the read and will go back to do it all over again now

love is so many things, C.C....
and I think you've captured them all here...both bold and quiet imagery, and a very touching, heart warming ending that leaves one wishing for more...very well done as always, and I agree with the other comments, one of your best)..

I read all the comments and do wish I was part of all that poetic knowledge and intelligence that abounds in those comments, but alas I am not a part of that poetic knowledge and don't quite 'understand' all of the time. I do know it addresses love very poetically but I guess ya can't get the Dr. Seuss out of me.On the positive side however, I didn't 'get' Shakespeare either all the time but like you he wrote some gems that even I could understand with some study. I loved The Merchant of Venice.

This so reminds me of a book I once read and have read again and again...of Love and the Pain - Hinds Feet on High Places was the name of it. This is one of my absolute favorite writings of yours. Just beautiful and so deep and so passionate and moving. E.E.
