There are no forms to fill out here in Maine Grandmummy. I have already spoken to a lady who runs the medical home supply shop here-she's helped me several times before when I applied for my manual wheelchair-and there is no way the state will pay for what I need. They will pay for a hospital bed(which I can't use) and an adjustable bed, but because of my spinal nerve injury issues, I need heat and massage options, which the state will not cover because they consider it unnecessary. At least if I pay for the bed myself they won't have to be involved.

It would seem to me that the ajustable bed is one of those
life enhancing pieces of equipment that keep you independent and so the State should at least help with the cost. Fill out the forms and see what happens.
