Justi --- yes, I would agree a War of Prayer would be excellent.  Pole dancing at 75 - well even at 55 here I would think that man in that video may exclude us.  I cannot believe his description of each child he speaks of...and it gave me chills because he's even flushed from the words he speaks ~ makes me ill because yes, I know this may well bring about some destruction to these children.  The dark is looming so very strongly lately and it's heavy.  I for one, do and will continue to pray ever fervently.  Thank you so much for your blog notes filled with 'morality' and passion.  Elysexoxox God bless You and George, God bless us all ~

I am one who grew up in the 60's ans 70's and for awhile I did get involved in drinking and being a free spirit! Thankfully after college I settled down because I was a professional educator and stood by the oath I took! But, I married an alcoholic. I stayed in it for 17 years, luckily I had the foresight to get out! This in turn helped me to gain control over my life and subsequently was able to give my kids a real life! They were raised in a church atmosphere and scouting. Had it not been for these two components it would have been difficult to help them grow into adulthood with a sense of real values. It is difficult and challenging to set rules and boundaries and reinforce them. My greatest joy is that they come to me and they tell me they know what I did for them. It's not easy but parents need to be lovingly firm so that they get a product as it were to enhance society as opposed to destroying it. They are very selective as to their circle of friends and will not associate with the dregs of society and they do what they can when friends fall to gutter so to speak! The video was appalling, the man who was so eloquent in his speech regarding the females made me rather ill. He was so wrapped up in physical appearances that it made me wonder what he really sees as a person's worth! The minute they lose those appealing characteristics they are but nothing! But, if the inner beauty were accentuated they would be pleasing for a life time! They set these youngsters up for the quick buck and then dump them when they are no longer making the grade insofar as money is concerned! For me, it is simple exploitation and nothing less!

My daughter is very beautiful and photogenic. So, she wanted to be a model. We pursued that avenue but the hustle and bustle and financial constraints weakened the exposure. I am very grateful it happened that way! The point I am getting to is that she was 105 pounds soaking wet and they still wanted her to be thinner. I had to stop things at that point! The only way to stop it is to deal with the youngster themselves. It's never easy to burst a bubble but I could not bear to watch the promoters, photographers and others use her like she was just another meal ticket for someone. It wasn't easy but she came to realize that her being is special and a gift from the Lord and she had to present herself so that He would be pleased with her, not someone who wanted her nearly nude in poses that to me were very unbecoming! I would not allow it and so they became disinterested in her as well! To this day she thanks me for the position I took, but she did not in the beginning! As parents we have to be the bad guy at times so as to ensure we get the best adult we can when they are in our charge! I see some of her friends who went down the drain and I am so thankful the Lord gave me strength to see it through and not give in to what she thought she wanted! The final point I would like to make is that my generation had failed their children miserably and when that happens the cycle continues! And the evidence is very prominent, just look at the television and the movies it speaks volumes!

You put out the tough issues and I think that is commendable! I am more of a person who likes to put out the feel good stuff, so the world needs both of us; I would suspect you a little more than me because of the state of the world at this point in time! So, God bless you Justi and follow your heart and continue on your ministry of making folks aware of what ails society! You are making a difference and that is so very important! I know this to be true for I look at how you have inspired my comment! I did not mean to write a post as a comment but I did! sam

"...little opportunity for a 75-year-old pole dancer..."?  You never know.  Just practice every chance you get.

Joel Barrett  Nephew helping friend with some house repairs took out time to try pole dancing.

Actually, I've always been fascinated by what happened to Pompeii.  Yes, sooner or later, God will have his fill with what is going on in our world.  Yikes!

PS; I have thought that if I could recover from my addictions with the help of God, my family and my friends. That the country I love could also recover with the help of good people like yourself and those other good people I have found here on Blogit who are brave enough to fight the good fight.

Justi I agree with you on all counts and more. The influence of Satan has never been stronger than it is now. Political correctness has bound our tongues, and our churches are under attack and afraid to speak out for fear of losing their tax exemption status. And as one of those recovering addicts I know of what I speak. Thank you for your visit and the birthday wish...God bless
