I haven't seen any daffodils springing up in London. :)

Rather sad, but the daffodils bring a note of cheer
and hope. Amazing that they spring to life so early in Cornwall. Well, we still have them to look forward to..:)

It seems so sad that you feel you may not see the grandkids again. Kind of reminds me of my own time of life. Peace my friend.

Yes I suppose children move away to find their own niche and path.

It does seem like a lot of people just spread apart.

wow, daffodils already! That must have been a feast for the eyes...:)..
We are getting new snow here, even as I type, and the weekend is supposed to be super cold....winter is a month old and still seems to be revving up....

I planted heaps more this year after the chipmunks went underground.
Now if they aren't eating them from underneath I should have a lovely show...end of April up here. Your lovely post did give me a fear though....my Grandchildren are growing fast as well and maybe I won't go back to Australia each year when they are off living their own lives and can't be gathered together

I have
some big yellow mums in my front planter. They are plastic from Wal-mart but they are yellow and pretty. It is too cold here for anything outside to be growing yet. Every warm day we have I get spring fever.

I am with you and the daffodils, even here in CA I dont think we have them yet.  Well you should be in my family and my family is the extent of the family and there are no grandkids. Just the animals

And it's definitely still winter in Stamford, CT!  We're expecting another 6" - 10" of snow tomorrow on top of the nearly 3 ft. we've had since the beginning of the year!  Sounds like you had a nice time, Rocking - glad to read it....Mal
