Justi, Bill Maher is simply offensive. I don't watch him; once someone had him on the television and you know, I must be too childlike, I left the room in a hurry, because his voice even grated on my nerves...he's loud and brash and ewww --- so you just go on and keep your Faith and Light shining...which I know you will and enjoy - oh my goodness, another birthday and 75? How wonderful and God bless you ~

Like you, I have spent my life reading the Holy Bible! It is an undertaking but I rejoice in it! Those who say it isn't true or B.S. have not taken the time to experience the word of the Lord! It is easier to deny than to go forth spreading the good news! And the Bible says there will be people like him and all we can do is pray for his soul! I do not think this was preaching but more of a testimony on your behalf! It is not easy to be a Christian in this evil world, but we are fundamentally responsible for our own salvation, like you, I like my odds tremendously! We know the Lord and His goodness and we try to share it with others! We can only lead folks to the water (so to speak) they must partake themselves! sam

ONE DAY EVEN HIS KNEW WILL BOW AND CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST, TRY TO GRAB AS MANY OUT OF THE FIRE AS YOU CAN, I AM WITH YOU, WHAT WOULD A MAN GAIN IF HE WERE TO GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS SOUL.

I agree totally with you. This was on some news thing about negative Christian bashing on the comedy circuit. I thought that was such a horrible thing to say. There are so many people who would listen to him. Many people say what ever a comedian says is not to be taken seriously because they are funny. No one can not be funny enough to dismiss the unacceptable.

Justi, I'm afraid that reading or listening to Bill Maher is something I would not waste my time and energy on. He has nothing at all of interest to me and I feel sadly for anyone who is swayed by his pseudointellectualism.

He is funny at someone's expense. It is a quirk of mine I can't laugh at another's expense. When I was a kid I didn't like Bob Hope because of that. Love ya, thanks for reading.

Thank you so much for your reply. There are some people who believe him, and some who think he is funny. His (bindg Bill Maher) ugly comments are not funny even from an extreme liberal point of view if people knew how dangerous they were. Be blessed.
