Of course it isn't you, stop that because you're sharp as a tack and still entertain people with wonderful writing and others with your caring, loving attitude.

I am sorry about Timmie just another lost soul in what has become for me
the mental health scandal. Sick people desperate for help. Psych has become a revolving door. Given meds....and OK....throw away meds because of the side effects and little follow up back to where they were originally and only the police to supervise. Oh it is awful....no better here or on Australia.

Re: Pat is anyone ever looking after her in any way?
Yes, Naut. She has a near neighbor, Alan, whose dog she walks along with her own, and who puts up with her "mothering" and does little maintenance things for her. Also, she's let a handyman type of guy move into her quonset, and he's been a blessing to her so far, making small repairs & helping with landscaping, etc. And there are a number of women friends, former nurses, etc. who are visiting, calling, getting together for coffee, etc.

Poor Timmie! I remember you told us about him before, that he was a bit of a problem for Jean and finally moved out, but I would have thought things were under control. They obviously weren't...And I hope Jean is not too hard on herself over his death. Incidentally, is
anyone ever looking after her in any way?
