Re:
Thank you EE. it is only rewriting old poems belonging to my frustrated youth. I think. Like the strong arm of the woman, I expect it was needed in those days.

Re:
Well I don't know about sitting on it C. G. I can't get near the cat it is a runner if I pick up any thing unusual . Two people came round about a year ago with posters. "have you seen Fluffy.' 'I'll have a photo.' I said  and pinned it on the kitchen wall.  They stood waiting expectantly and Fluffy walked round for her tea. 'That's Fluffy' they said and looked at me quizzically.  "yes" I replied, 'She's been here three months after taking a years holiday, but she didn't like her flea collar. Go on take her.' The young man approached Fluffy and she vanished.' I told them they would have to come round in the morning when she was being fed and make friends again. They never came back.

Being in the moment is priceless indeed, CC...
This is excellent work; wistful yet celebratory in a sense - warm, heartfelt and so real...lovely effect, kudos!

Hello Chiff Chaff - Enjoyed your comments on yesterdays blog. Glad your pets are enjoying all your loveing care. It would be lovely if you could take a photo of your pets they sound like great characters Chiff Chaff. Try rubbing a new pillow that you want your cat to sleep on over it's body repeatedly and sitting it o it so it can smell familiar. It will help it choose that so you can take away the old one you don't like. :)  I did enjoy your comments and I must say I do enjoy your stories Chiff Chaff even your grumbles :) LOL

PS: 1st read thought I read "a look that twisted from the 1st woman"--and it sounded like something you'd write. Pardone..

I read the first line and burts out laughing. I thought it said "the first twisted thought from a woman" --which wouldn't have been beyond you. So, ok. I wasn't wearing my glases. As i re-read (2nd Libation)--this touch-and-goingness of words and concepts adds up in a shimmering image--leaving not a thought but a sense of feeling that always seems somehow to evade itself. Quite a painting.

ChCh --- by first line I envisioned:  and line by line this speaks of fortune, wings - I see that of Heavenly thoughts, including your last line --- the first woman.  Ideally written.  I find your poetry so touching these days.  E.E.
