A big change can lead to feeling quite different when around the situation. I felt that way at first when one of our businesses became a rental.

You sound very busy Malcolm :) Risotto is not an easy dish though
people say it  is it can go wrong quite easily. Well done for trying anyway. :)

Malcolm
No grass growing under you feet my friend. Always nice to read of your family, a memory treat.

How nice to catch up with Ivan! I love ti that Christian gives it his all even though they have not met with a great deal of success! I think that brings out the love of the game in an athlete and winning is one thing but love of the game is the ultimate victory in my humble opinion! sam

An hour with your son is wonderful when that is all you get.

I'm glad you got to spend time with Ivan Malcolm.  I'm glad you enjoyed my ROTTERDAM piece.

I can so clearly identify
with your frustration at the late to dinner guests. You get to a point where you don't want to bother with hosting, but prefer to meet at a restaurant. But the chance to lunch with your son... now that was great!

Malcolm, 'lo to you and the family ~ Thank you for checking in as I know you're busy --- and so glad y'all got to visit with your son.  That made up for the risotto being mushy I would imagine.  Elyse

I bet some of your old colleges think I wish, I wish. It is sometimes cold on the outside but freedom is worth a bunch Malcom.

malcolm, don't you just love those conversation hoarders
who don't give anyone else much of a chance to say anything? (I'm being sarcastic, as I'm sure you can tell, sarcastic and facetious)...whether in an informal gathering or a meeting, they make me want to excuse myself and tell whoever's in charge, "Call me when 'so-and-so's through" and I'll be back.....

I love risotto; bet yours was good!..:)
Busy and productive days you are having, but always so nice to hear of families making time to be together, even if it is brief.
