At first it was the colors of life for I loved the words choices and placement! Then I really liked the play on words! Then I thought she must be coy or he may have had the thoughts in his mind and never made them audible! all in all it was a fine poem for it has many elements to it that touch all the senses almost equally! sam

Go on Kabu don't be so modest, you could do it if you really wanted to do so. I am afraid there is one condition, well you don't have oysters very often do you,

Re: she whom
A quick resume you put the marks over. Some are instant Bob some such as this is worked over perhaps ten times , basically we cannot really write about that which we have not experienced we need a nucleus or a germ of an idea. Maybe she wasn't that desirable in one sense but she was intellectual and that was heavy stuff to one such as the writer, so she didn't get married and one fills in the gaps with imagination probably to gain something that he no longer seeks. OK buddy.

ChCh - I like the colors in this warmth and bright and well, this whole poem is beautiful.  So soft and yes, as Sinome writes, 'tender' ~ I like your romantic poetry, much.  E.E.
