"Nothing is sadder than believing one has found perfection.
This flickering illusion follows its path alone
but must obey the power of change and make
its presence ache inside the shrinking bone."
ChCh ~ this verse in particular is just simply 'wisdom' speaking. It shares volumes and I tell you this makes me ponder on the 'perfection' factor all the more. Change and the ability to adapt is more for living. I love this poem - so tender and yet, so rich again. E.E.

Ah me. I read poems like this and I am reminded of just how imperfect I am
and how I have messed up too often simply because I thought I was right.

Thank you Wiley 7:54 am the stray cat is waiting for its breakfast, it is so silly I have to leave the porch door ajar or it won't go in a little kennel I bought for its benefit. I have a goose but it is blind I think although it seems happy enough I feed it on fishy cat pellets to keep its bones strong . I would like some bantams but they hide away in the grass when broody and the fox takes them.

Re: LOVELY WORDS STRUNG TOGETHER AND I JUST LOVE VISITING
Than you Kabu my brother has the right attitude he is 15 years younger but likes sitting in my house with the heater turned up, well he does cook the dinner most days. Always seems to get the best cut and the nicest veg. Chefs privilege he says. He has white carpets in his house.

Re:
Thank you Simone I agree with what you say, but most people probably don't think like you and settle into a sort of warm comfortable groove. Perhaps it used to be like that sitting in front of the fire in little cottages, I was only a boy and was fascinated by the wedding photos always displayed and travel back in time.

heartfelt poem CC... I have had perfection and I have had chaos and I tell you the latter is so much more fun . Settling for companionship and loyalty... hmmm, I guess it would be the sensible thing to do but .... I don't think I could do it , I need more even if it hurts. That is just me... I can see how it could be advisable in many situations though. Great poem my friend xoxoxo

So true. This is a great assessment of the commingling of many emotions that adjust out to the basics which is the foundation of all. I didn't know you had not been feeling well. You take good care of yourself, you hear! I shall pray for you.

If you desire an intensive explanation please ask my secretary, she likes a challenge like biting the top off a bottle of the brown stuff. Or you could ask Uncle Albert as I feel a bit light headed, don't forget to feed those Guinea pigs.

Re:
Great news Sam get the patent which you should have done firstly, but never mind that you might come up with some more ideas. I have been tired for a day or two and then when I felt better I took a massive shovel and scraped the yard free of a massive barrowful of weed and soil. The spirit is willing . Yes I haven't been sending you any vibes for a day or two you should have caught a few by now. Well of course I would like to see it and I will not tell a soul.

Re: Chiff Chaff have you been unwell? What's the matter?
Tired C.G lots of flu around and one suspects little doses try to invade the unwary. Thank you to save an explanation which is really simple but I have replaced the words. This firm is flexible if not dependable

"nothing is sadder than believing one has found perfection"....
very true, C.C. ...both Liz and myself discovered very early in our marriage that anything we though was perfect in the other, well, we learned and adapted and accepted each other just the way we were (and are today)...no more illusions...
I love the positive close to your poem, without denying the rest of it is true.

Chiff Chaff have you been unwell? What's the matter?
I tried to follow this poem but have come out of it a bit uncertain as to whether you mean crying bestows greater loyalty or having a companion bestows greater loyalty. Hope you can explain the correct interpretation of your poem for me...

I totally agree on true compassion! I have to tell you something that has me agog this morning! I came up with this silly but cool invention so I searched the Internet and found a company that will research the idea, patent it then find a market, blah, blah, blah and I don't pay anything until I make something on it! It just cracks me up! So since it is a secret until I am protected I can't tell you openly but I trust you implicitly so if you want to know I will email the info to you! It all started out as a joke but everyone who saw in my family and friends loved it! The guy liked it too! What a funny, funny, funny day for me! I hope you are feeling much better although you have been on my mind so I can't discern where you're at so be WELL please! sam
