Well I don't like buying new ones and find they are being scratched to bits E.E, it just likes to scratch in comfort too wet outside.

UA --- clever write here --- like Rumor I thought you nailed the cat to the floor but, it looks like since you've given it 'tea' and all --- and depending on what kind of tea you gave (black has more caffiene I think) no wonder the kitty peed and well, bounced all around and now, take the nails out please and if it persists, let it and the rug on outside --- is what I would suggest...
